Terms & Conditions of bookings with Conor Lally T/A Movecrew. Bookings may be agreed, either verbally in person or via a phone call, via electronic mail, or text message.

a) Cancellation: Confirmed bookings (where Conor Lally T/A Movecrew has agreed to accept the work and not accept other work for the agreed dates) are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of up to 7 days prior to commencement. A booking will be considered confirmed if not cancelled in writing 5 business days before commencement. Bookings that are cancelled 5 days notice are subject to a 70% Cancellation fee. Bookings Cancelled with less than 5 days notice are subject to 100% of the agreed rate inclusive of any other work completed prior to the shoot in the form of prep/pre production.

b) Hiatus/Suspensions: Any interruption to work must be agreed in advance by both parties and will be subject to a minimum 50% retainer and based on the average fee paid in the preceding month, including any kit fees or overtime.

c) Termination: A minimum of one week in writing for both parties.

d) Payment terms: for any overseas or first time bookings we require 50/50 payment terms with the final payment paid on the last day of your booking. For local first time customers we can offer payment within 10 days of completion of work or the next scheduled payroll run, whichever is the sooner. We offer returning clients payment terms of up to 30 days. Payment after 30 days is subject to statutory late payment charges and interest in line with ECB Rates (8 points over). Your payment history may affect what credit, if any we can offer you. In some scenarios, we may need to negotiate payment terms on bigger contracts or any work involving retainers.

e) Working week: Will consist of 5 days of up to 10 hours per day unless otherwise agreed. see g) for rates.

f) Insurance: Any items provided by the client or hired to the client must be covered by the company’s insurance. Travel insurance must be provided by the client for international bookings.

g) Rates: Day rates are assumed to be 10 hour days – we do offer 12 hour rates, but it must be expressly asked for on booking if you need a 12 hour rate.  Overtime will be charged where jobs go over agreed hours.

g) Travel:  50% rate applies to travel days. We also charge mileage from our base in Dundalk. Co. Louth.
